John William Meek was born in April 1848 at Nova Scotia.1 He was the son of Stephen Meek and Ann Kerr. John William Meek married Isabella McDougall on 16 June 1884 at Boston, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts; Isabella was the widow of John L. Audsley.2 John William Meek married Catherine Farwell on 7 July 1892 at Boston, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts.3 John William Meek died on 4 February 1905 at Attleboro, Bristol Co, Massachusetts, at age 56; He died of influenza.1
