Charlotte Elderkin was born on 11 May 1826. She was the daughter of James Elderkin and Elizabeth Kerr. Charlotte Elderkin married Dr Stephen Howard, son of John Howard Jr and Rachel Campbell Kerr, on 29 April 1858 at Falmouth, Hants Co, Nova Scotia. Charlotte Elderkin died on 14 August 1905 at age 79.
