     Albert Varley was born on 4 March 1867 at Hunslet, Yorkshire, England.2,1 He was the son of John Varley.1 Albert Varley was baptized on 24 December 1871 at St Peter's, Hunslet Moor, Yorkshire, England.2 He married Eliza Pearson, daughter of Isaac Pearson and Ellen Ingman, on 7 December 1887 at Hunslet Moor, Leeds, Yorkshire, England; The residence given for both of them is 59 Dewsbury Road.1 Albert Varley died in 1928 at Hunslet, Yorkshire, England; Find-A-Grave shows burial unknown.3
     He appeared on the census of 1911 at 31 Mario St, Dewsbury Rd, Leeds, Yorkshire, England; Albert Varley, 45, Eliza, 43, Harold, 18, Hilda, 15 and Ivy, 11. They had six children by this time, and two had died. They had been married 23 years.4
