     Emerson Gordon Morrison was born on 6 March 1912 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; The ebirth record indicated the mother was of "the Narrows" in Queens County.3 He was the son of Duncan Robert Morrison and Myrtle Gertrude Nisbet.2 Emerson Gordon Morrison was baptized on 5 October 1913 at Mission Church of St John Baptist, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; At the time of baptism the family was living at 140 Durham Street.4 He married Stella Nora Fanjoy on 23 April 1934 at Queens Co, New Brunswick.1
