     John Truax was born on 4 November 1808 at Farnham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of Abraham Truax and Nancy Jane Scott. John Truax was baptized on 1 January 1809 at Dunham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 He married Catherine Truax on 30 December 1830 at Dunham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 John Truax died on 18 July 1888 at Hopkins, Allegan Co, Michigan, at age 79; He died of consumption.3
