     David Covey was born on 7 August 1884 at East Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.1 He was the son of Stephen Covey and Amelia Hemingway. David Covey married Helen Stacy on 22 October 1917 at Swanton, Franklin Co, Vermont.2 David Covey died on 8 March 1937 at Farren Memorial Hospital, Montague, Franklin Co, Massachusetts, at age 52; Montague, March 9 - David Covey of the Meadow Road, died of pneumonia Monday at the Farren Memorial Hospital. He was born in East Alburgh, VT. August 7, 1884, the son of Stephen and Amelia Covey. He moved here about 10 years ago having come from North Leverett where he had lived for 30 years.
In 1917 he married Mrs. Bert Howard who survives him. He also leaves six sons, Miles, David, Floyd, Herman, Philip and Gerald; three daughters, Mrs. Phillip Roberts, Myrtle and Ina all of Montague. Three sisters, Mrs. Bosburgh and Mrs. William Norris of Swanton VT and Mrs. Winnie Hilliker of Rouses Point, NY. and two brothers Miles of Swanton, Vt. and Stephen of Grafton, N.H.
Funeral services will be held in the North Leverett Church Wednesday at 2. Burial will be in the North Leverett Cemetery.1 He was buried on 10 March 1937 at North Leverett, Massachusetts.1
