     Isaac Hicks Salls was born on 29 December 1844 at New Lebanon, Columbia Co, New York.1 He was the son of Samuel Hawley/Hix Salls and Harriet Haight.1 Isaac Hicks Salls died on 5 April 1866 at East Hamburg, Erie Co, New York, at age 21.1 He was buried at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Orchard Park, Erie Co, New York; He was 21 years, 3 months and 9 days old; Civil War veteran and member of G.A.R. Post #440.1
