     Ermengarde of Italy was born in 848; Ermengarde was the only surviving daughter of Louis II, Holy Roman Emperor.3 She was the daughter of Louis II of Italy and Engelberga.1,2 Ermengarde of Italy married Boso of Provence, son of Bivin of Gorze, circa 876.3
