     Rebecca Lucas was born circa 1851 at Tyendinaga Township, Hastings Co, Ontario.1 She was the daughter of George Lucas and Sarah Tryon. Rebecca Lucas married James Pearson on 24 March 1879 at Belleville, Hastings Co, Ontario.1 Rebecca Lucas married Jonathan Pearson on 19 November 1892 at Lennox and Addington, Ontario; Jonathan was Rebecca's brother in law.2
