     Sir Francis Howard was baptized on 21 October 1585 at Halling House, Croydon, Surrey, England.1 He was the son of Sir William Howard and Frances Gouldwell. Sir Francis Howard married Jane Monson, daughter of Sir William Monson and Dorothy Wallop, on 4 July 1604 at England. Sir Francis Howard died on 7 July 1651 at Great Bookham, Surrey, England, at age 65.1 He was buried at St Nicholas Parish Churchyard, Great Bookham, Surrey, England; "Here lyeth buried Sr. Francis Howard Kt Sonne of Sr. William Howard Kt Grandsonne to William Lord Howard of Effengem Lord High Admirall of England & Great Grandsonne to Thomas Howard Duke of Norfolke who departed this Life ye 7th of July 1651."2
