Margaret Heaton

Margaret Heaton was born circa 1772; Her marriage to Joseph Dean listed them both as aged 50 and of Holbeck.¹ She was the daughter of William Heaton. Margaret Heaton was christened on 16 September 1772 at Holbeck, Yorkshire, England; The christening lists her as Peggy Heaton. She has also be reported to have been born circa 1776 Her burial record indicated she was 65 years old.² She married Samuel Malkin on 18 August 1790 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England.³ Margaret Heaton married Joseph Dean, son of Joseph Dean, on 7 July 1821 at Yorkshire; Both Margaret and Joseph were residents of Holbeck and 50 years old at the time of marriage. He was a tailor. It is likely that Malkins was Margaret's married name and she was a widow.
If she is a widow, her first husband might have been Samuel Malkin, who died in Jan 1816, at the age of 45. He was buried At St Mary's in Hunslet.
Of course, that would eliminate Joseph's death occurring in 1817. I am leaving as is, trying to work out which is correct.^4,1,5 Margaret Heaton was buried on 12 December 1841 at St Peter's Wesleyan, Leeds, Yorkshire, England; She was buried Row 4, Grave 3.
There was also a burial listed for Margaret Dean on the 15th of December, within non-Conformist records.²
