     Carrie Burns was born on 29 August 1857 at Westport, Essex Co, New York; Her death certificate indicates she was born in Chesterfield, Essex Co, New York.1 She was the daughter of George Burns and Mahala Tallman. Carrie Burns married George Nelson Wilkinson circa 1880.2 Carrie Burns was buried at Hillside Cemetery, Westport, Essex Co, New York.3 She died on 2 June 1905 at Bridport, Addison Co, Vermont, at age 47; She had stomach cancer.1
     Carrie Burns was also known as Carrie Allen.
