     Shirley Clark was born on 26 May 1900 at Bennington Co, Vermont; Shirley was admitted to the Almshouse and Poor House 3 Oct 1917 at age 17. Her registration shows her father's name for the address of relatives in Bennington. Not sure why her father placed her there at that age.2 She was the daughter of Arthur F. Clark and Deborah Helen Young.1 Shirley Clark married James Joseph on 1 October 1922 at Bennington, Bennington Co, Vermont.3
