Henry Adams

     Henry Adams was born on 30 July 1750 at New Marlborough, Berkshire Co, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of Joseph Adams and Miriam Cleveland.¹ Henry Adams married Joanna Tryon, daughter of Daniel Tryon and Ellenor Vaughan, circa 1778 at likely Bennington Co, Vermont. Henry Adams died on 23 February 1813 at Willsboro, Essex Co, New York, at age 62.² He was buried at Gilliland Cemetery, Willsboro, Essex Co, New York.²
     He was of Shaftsbury of the New Hampshire Grants (Vermont) in 1775.¹ He and Joanna Tryon appeared on the census of 1790 at Shaftsbury, Bennington Co, Vermont; Henry Adams is a resident of Shaftsbury with 2 males under 16, 1 male over 16, and 4 free females.³
