     Nancy A. Tryon has also be reported to have been born 2 September 1843.2 She was born on 2 October 1847 at Elizabethtown, Essex Co, New York.3 She was the daughter of Joseph Tryon and Sarah J. James. Nancy A. Tryon married Henry Brigham in February 1865 at Westport, Essex Co, New York.4 Nancy A. Tryon married Alonzo W. Decker, son of Jacob Decker, after February 1865. Nancy A. Tryon married Joseph Forkey before 1892. Nancy A. Tryon died on 14 December 1937 at Essex Co, New York, at age 90; For the past eight years, Nancy had been living with her son, W.A. Decker. Her obituary named her as Nancy Tryon Decker Forkey.
This is confusing because Nancy is listed as a Decker in 1930, but had married Forkey before 1892. No further info on Joseph Forkey.2
     She appeared on the census of 27 June 1865 at Westport, Essex Co, New York; Nancy was enumerated as Nancy Brigham, aged 17, married, living with her parents, Joseph and Sarah, and siblings, Celia, Wilmuth and John.5
