Louisa Young was born on 12 February 1826 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. She was the daughter of Frederick Young and Mary Iby. Louisa Young was baptized on 14 March 1826 at St George's Anglican Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She married Thomas Fadden before 1850.
Sponsor to her baptism was Mary Yarnes Covey. Louisa Young appeared on the census of 5 June 1870 at Le Sueur, Le Sueur Co, Minnesota; Thomas, Fadden, 57, Louisa, 45, George, 19, Maurice, 15, Richard, 14, Ella, 12, all born in Canada, and Abraham, 10, born in Minnesota.2
