     Thomas Longeway was born on 26 November 1856 at Sutton, Brome Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of James Covey Longeway and Isabella Park Hurst. Thomas Longeway married Emma Myer on 30 August 1883 at Council Bluffs, Potawatamie Co, Iowa.2 Thomas Longeway died on 17 October 1941 at Council Bluffs, Potawatamie Co, Iowa, at age 84.1
     He appeared on the census of 1920; The census shows he came to the states in 1892.3
