     Elizabeth Hawley was born on 10 May 1776.1 She was born on 10 June 1776 at Pawlet, Rutland Co, Vermont.2 She was the daughter of Reuben Hawley and Rachel Hurd. Elizabeth Hawley married Josephus Vaughan, son of Josephus Vaughan and Rebecca Towner, on 12 March 1797 at Quebec.2 Elizabeth Hawley died on 17 July 1851 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 75.3,2 She was buried on 19 July 1851 at Missisquoi Co, Quebec; Sons, Reuben H. and Gershom Vaugahn were witnesses.3
