Elizabeth Perye was the daughter of William Perye and ? Fry. Elizabeth Perye married Richard Rossiter, son of William Rossiter and Joan (?), circa 1490 at Somersetshire, England.1 Elizabeth Perye died before 20 July 1558 at Somersetshire, England.
Colket's article on the Rossiter family in NEHGR of January 1984 gives us a hint as to who this Elizabeth may be. An Elizabeth wife to "Rossetor" is recorded as daughter of William Perye who married a daughter of John Frye. Members of the Frye family are closely associated with later Rossiters at Combe St. Nicholas. In any case, her family was of Walter, Membury, Devonshire.
