King Louis VI of France was born on 1 December 1081 at France.1 He was the son of Philip I King of France and (?) Bertha of Holland. King Louis VI of France married Adelaide of Maurienne, daughter of Humbert II de Maurienne and (?) Gisele de Bourgogne, on 3 August 1115. King Louis VI of France died on 1 August 1137 at Béthisy-Saint-Pierre, Paris, Seine, France, at age 55.1 He was buried at Saint Denis Basilica, Paris, France.2
