     William Nisbet was born circa 1849 at Kings Co, New Brunswick. He was the son of Oliver Nisbet and Mary Stewart. William Nisbet married Emily J. Page, daughter of Isaac J Page and Hannah J Meader, on 8 August 1892 at Bowdoinham, Sagadahoc Co, Maine; Marriage certificate indicates his father as Oliver Nisbit of Saint John, b. Scotland, and mother Mary "Stuart" b. Saint John.1,2 William Nisbet died after 1920.
     He appeared on the census of 1910 at Bowdoinham, Sagadahoc Co, Maine; William Nesbit, 50, Emily J., 33, Hannah L., 7 and Carrie M., 6. They had three children, with two living.2 He appeared on the census of 1920 at Bowdoinham, Sagadahoc Co, Maine; William was 70, widowed, with son John, 18, living with William E. King, 40, and his wfe Carrie, 26. Carrie was William Nisbet's daughter.3
