John McClay

John McClay was born circa 1825; according to the 1875 census of Franklin County, NY. He was born on 20 June 1834 at Ireland.1 He married Almira Scott, daughter of Edward Scott and Margaret Young, on 27 March 1866 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. John McClay died on 18 December 1887 at age 53.1 He was buried after 18 December 1887 at Union Cemetery, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2
