     Lt. John Slapp was born circa 1675 at Salem, Essex Co, Massachusetts. He married Elizabeth Marble, daughter of Samuel Marble and Rebecca Andrews, on 25 December 1712 at Salem, Essex Co, Massachusetts.1 Lt. John Slapp died on 2 June 1730 at Mansfield, Tolland Co, Connecticut. His estate was probated on 23 June 1742 at Tolland Co, Connecticut.2
     He left a will on 13 July 1740 at Mansfield, Tolland Co, Connecticut.2
