Richard Borden was born in February 1595/96 at Headcorn, Kent, England.1 He was the son of Matthew Borden and Joan (?) Richard Borden married Joan Fowle, daughter of Richard Fowle and Mary (?), on 28 September 1625 at Headcorn, Kent, England.2 Richard Borden died on 25 May 1671 at Portsmouth, Newport Co, Rhode Island, at age 75.2
