     Magdalene Derick was born on 8 June 1807 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of Philip Derick Jr and Barbara Young.1 Magdalene Derick was baptized on 4 March 1809 at Christie's Manor, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She married James Williams Jr on 30 October 1828 at Caldwell's Manor, (now Missisquoi Co), Quebec.2 Magdalene Derick died on 26 January 1844 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 36.
     Magdalene Derick was also known as Lany.
