Charles Thomas was born after 1722. He was the son of Daniel Thomas and Eunice Brown. Charles Thomas married Lydia Auger, daughter of John Auger and Elizabeth Bradley, on 22 March 1741 at New Haven, New Haven Co, Connecticut.1 Charles Thomas died on 1 January 1773 at New Haven, New Haven Co, Connecticut; The book "Ancient Families of New Haven" indicates Charles died on 30 Jan 1778. Hale's Collection lists Charles Thomas and his nephew, Adonijah, as having died 1 Jan 1773, indicating it may have been a drowning accident, so prevalent at that time.
