     George B. Ives was born on 28 June 1861 at Chateaugay, Franklin Co, New York.3,2 He was the son of Butler Ives and Harriet F. Wing. George B. Ives married Ada Sarah Young, daughter of William Stewart Young and Lydia Patterson, circa April 1879 at Franklin Co, New York.4 George B. Ives died on 8 April 1932 at Concord, Merrimack Co, New Hampshire, at age 70.5
     He appeared on the census of 8 June 1900 at Hillsborough, Hillsborough Co, New Hampshire; George B. Ives, 39, Ada S., 35; Both had married at age 21. Perhaps he was married previously. She had 5 children, all living: Bert G., 20, Maud M., 17, Fern, 12, Herbert, 8, Sibyl M., 2, along with dau-in-law, Ina G. Ives, Bert's wife, 21.2
