     Emily Grayson was born on 20 June 1907 at Hunslet, Yorkshire, England.2,1 She was the daughter of Joseph William Grayston and Annie Watkinson.1 Emily Grayson married Norman White, son of Alfred White, on 29 August 1931 at Hunslet Parish Church, Hunslet, Leeds, Yorkshire, England; Norman was a grocers assistant and resided in Holbeck. Emily was living at 36 Woodville Place.3 Emily Grayson died on 24 September 1982 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England, at age 75.4
     She appeared on the census of 1939 at 74 Leasowe Road, Leeds, Yorkshire, England; Emily White, unpaid domestic duties, and husband, Norman, grocery warehouseman, along with two children. One is possibly still living so is a closed record, while the other was Madge White.2
