     George Squires was born in April 1809 at New Brunswick.1,2,3 He was the son of Jabesh Caleb Squires and Martha Hammond.1 George Squires married Frances Louisa Gage circa 1837 at New Brunswick.1 George Squires died on 7 September 1883 at Wicklow, Carleton Co, New Brunswick, at age 74; George was 74 years and 5 months old when he died.2,4 He was buried at Lower Wicklow Cemetery, Wicklow, Carleton Co, New Brunswick.3
     The family settled in Wicklow, Carleton Co where George was a farmer and Justice of the Peace.1,5
