     Jack Phillips Ryder was born on 20 April 1895 at St Stephen, Charlotte Co, New Brunswick.3,2 He was the son of George Ryder and Emma (?)2 Jack Phillips Ryder married Harriett May Hepburn, daughter of John Alexander Hepburn and Jennie Tobin, on 19 June 1918 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Jack was aged 24 when married and a clerk, then living in Newcastle.1,4 Jack Phillips Ryder died on 2 March 1948 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick, at age 52.5 He was buried at St Stephen's Rural Cemetery, St Stephen, Charlotte Co, New Brunswick.
