Harper and Elmira Elizabeth Sharpe.1 William Harper married Lucy Matilda Long on 7 April 1895 at Charlotte, Mecklenburg Co, North Carolina. William Harper died on 21 February 1923 at Gastonia, Gaston Co, North Carolina.2 He was buried on 22 February 1923 at Armstrong Memorial Cemetery, North Carolina.2
