     Jonathan Gorham was born circa 1769.2 He married Sophia Wait, daughter of George Wait and Elizabeth (?), before 1795. Jonathan Gorham died on 2 July 1825 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; He had been a shipwright.1,2 He was buried on 3 July 1825 at St George's Anglican, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1
     Jonathan Gorham was a pewholder at St George's church at Kingston, Upper Canada on 17 Mar 1794. He had joined Lodge No. 6 of the Freemasons in 1795.3
