     John Alfred Rex Gorham was born on 15 November 1804 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of Jonathan Gorham and Sophia Wait.1 John Alfred Rex Gorham was baptized on 21 June 1825 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He married Louisa Bruce before 1829.2 John Alfred Rex Gorham died on 22 January 1881 at Clinton Co, New York, at age 76; The stone says John A.R. Gorham, b. 15 Nov 1806, died 22 Jan 1881.3 He was buried at Redford Cemetery, Redford, Clinton Co, New York.3
     He witnessed the baptism of Hannah Paulina Gorham Wait on 21 June 1825 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.4
