     Samuel Wood married Jane (?)2 Samuel Wood was born on 31 May 1692 at Rowley, Essex Co, Massachusetts.1,3 He was the son of Thomas Wood and Mary Hunt.1 Samuel Wood died on 25 July 1742 at Mansfield, Tolland Co, Connecticut, at age 50; His widow, Jane, andd their son, Joseph Wood, declined to serve as executor of his will.2 His estate was probated on 22 September 1742 at Windham Co, Connecticut; The inventory was taken 18 aug 1742, but Samuel Wood, another son, administered the estate.2
     He left a will on 20 July 1742 at Windham Co, Connecticut.2
