     John Scott was born on 5 November 1806 at Ecclefechan, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.2 He was the son of Walter Scott and Christiana Kerr.1 John Scott died on 14 October 1837 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England, at age 30.3
