     Clarissa Jane Eaton was born circa 1846 at Manchester, Bennington Co, Vermont.2,3 She was the daughter of John Eaton and Susan J. Sawyer.1 Clarissa Jane Eaton married John Nelson Patterson, son of George Owen Connelly and Matilda Jane Patterson, before 1867. Clarissa Jane Eaton died on 3 August 1910 at Manchester, Bennington Co, Vermont; Disease causing death was dysentery.1 She was buried at Factory Point Cemetery, Manchester, Bennington Co, Vermont.4
     Clarissa Jane Eaton was also known as Carrie Eaton.3
