Elizabeth North was the daughter of John North and Mary West. Elizabeth North married Enoch Wood, son of Nehemiah Wood and Elizabeth Hovey. Elizabeth North died between 1822 and 1828 at Cornwallis, Kings Co, Nova Scotia; William Lynch, the present husband of Elizabeth, Enoch's widow, was appointed guardian for the minor children. Parcels of land were mentioned in Cornwallis: 5 acres in the lower dyke of the town and another 7 acres lying in the Wellington dyke.1 She married William Lynch before November 1828 at Kings Co, Nova Scotia.1
