     Amanda Wood was born circa 1841 at Kings Co, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of James Andrew Wood and Rebecca Ann Jackson. Amanda Wood married Leigh Richmond Fitch on 15 December 1864. Amanda Wood died on 7 November 1869 at Santa Clara Co, California; She died of Typhoid Fever. No headstone, but was buried in Section B, Block 32, Lot 1.1
