Mehitable Lewis was born on 13 September 1733. She was the daughter of John Lewis Jr. and Mary/Mercy Hopkins. Mehitable Lewis was baptized on 20 October 1734.1 She married Samuel Slader Jr., son of Samuel Salder and Mary Wilder, on 25 December 1754 at Windham, Windham Co, Connecticut.
