     Joseph D. Mason was born in June 1844 at Nova Scotia.2,3 He married Charlotte Meek, daughter of Stephen Meek and Ann Kerr, on 2 November 1873 at Boston, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts.1 Joseph D. Mason died on 29 July 1908 at Lubec, Washington Co, Maine, at age 64.4
     He appeared on the census of 1880 at Maynard, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts; Joseph Mason, 34, wife Martha, 39, both b. NS, and son Roy, 6 months.2
