Priscilla Lawrence married Matthew Whitfield;
Mathew and Priscilla Whitfield of Nansemond County, sold their interest in a patent made to the late Mr. John Lawrence for 530 acres to John Lawrence of Newport Parish in Isle of Wight County for 5,000 pound of tobacco on 9 Feb 1708. John bequeathed part of it to his daughter, Elizabeth, who bequeathed her share to her sister, Priscilla Whitfield.1,2 Priscilla Lawrence was born circa 1660 at Nansemond Co, Virginia. She was the daughter of John Lawrence and Mary Power.
