Zoa Lavinia Wade

     Zoa Lavinia Wade was born on 22 July 1852 at Essex, Essex Co, New York; Zoa had been the last surviiving widow in Vermont of a Civil War veteran, before dying at her home at 550 South Willard Street, Burlington - at age 100. She had lic=ved in Burlington for 77 years.¹ She was the daughter of Horatio Wade and Marie Phoebe Letarte. Zoa Lavinia Wade married Charles Evan Hughes on 10 November 1875 at Essex, Essex Co, New York.² Zoa Lavinia Wade died on 4 February 1953 at Burlington, Chittenden Co, Vermont, at age 100.
