     Sidney Derick was born on 20 January 1847 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of Charles Derick and Melinda H. Eaton. Sidney Derick was baptized on 20 June 1847 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 He married Ida R. Darby on 14 February 1875 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.3
