Muriel Frances Dean

     Muriel Frances Dean was born on 6 January 1913 at Passaic, Passaic Co, New Jersey.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Edward Dean and Mildred Eva Scott. Muriel Frances Dean died on 30 December 1977 at Marlborough, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts, at age 64; She died from metastic carcinoma of endometrium.² She was buried on 31 December 1977 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton, Worcester Co, Massachusetts; The Rev. Harold L. Aldrin, of the First Federated Church, and the Rev. William L. Wolkovich of St Mary's Churc, Ayer, officiated at the funeral.³
     Muriel was a graduate of Methuen High School in Massachusetts and of Becker Junior College in Worcester, Massachusetts. She was the secretary to the Principal for Hudson High School for twenty-eight years and at Hudson Middle School for two years. She retired in September, 1972 due to a disability.
Before her death in 1977, she was living with her sister, Shirley, on Maple Street in Hudson, Massachusetts. She enjoyed working on family genealogy and her notes have been of great value to this writer, her niece.⁴
