Alvah Johnson married Elizabeth Ann Hillman on 28 May 1837 at Caldwell's Manor, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.¹ Alvah Johnson married Catherine Smith on 27 March 1843 at St Armand West, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; St Armand West (Phillipsburg) Church. Alvah Johnson died on 9 April 1861 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 63.^2,3 He was buried on 11 April 1861 at 3rd Concession Cemetery, Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.^2,3
