     Almira Johnson was born on 18 November 1828 at Foucault, (now Missisquoi Co), Quebec.1 She was the daughter of Alvah Johnson and Catherine Derick. Almira Johnson was baptized on 7 June 1829 at St George's Anglican Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1
