Sarah Tryon was born circa 1810 at Quebec. She was the daughter of William Tryon and Sarah Scott. Sarah Tryon married George Lucas circa 1834. Sarah Tryon died after 1881 at Tyendinaga Township, Hastings Co, Ontario; In 1881, she was living with her son, William, 34 and daughter, Sarah, 46.
She appeared on the census of 1871 at Tyendinaga, Hastings Co, Ontario; Sarah Tryon Lucas, 58, and a widow, is found in the household of her son William, 22, Sarah, 36, Mary 26, Rebecca, 22, Wealtha Ann, 19 and Susannah,15.¹
