Enoch Briggs
Tryon was born on 23 August 1848 at
Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.
1 He was the son of
Daniel Tryon Jr. and
Amy Almeda Wait. Enoch Briggs Tryon was baptized on 11 August 1853 at
Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.
1 He married
Alice Josephine Tryon, daughter of
Ephraim Briggs Tryon and
Matilda Jane Wait, on 16 January 1877 at
Glines Corners, Stanstead Co, Quebec; Stanstead Methodist Church. Enoch Briggs Tryon married
Eliza J. King on 2 February 1927.
2 Enoch Briggs Tryon died on 3 January 1936 at
Beebe, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 87.
3 He was buried at
Marlington Cemetery, Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec.
3 He witnessed the burial of
William Egglefield on 3 March 1895 at
Marlington Cemetery, Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec.
4 Enoch Briggs Tryon appeared on the census of 1901 at
Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec; Enoch Trion, 52, Alice, 40, along with James Trion, father, 76, and Almeda Trion, 84, mother. Obviously, this was mis-labeled as James was his father-in-law and Almeda was his mother.
5 He left a will on 31 March 1927.
6 He appeared on the census of 25 April 1930 at
Tarpon Springs, Pinellas Co, Florida; Enoch B. Tryon, 81, Eliza J., 69, and Marion E. Jenness, 11, step grand daughter.
