     Almeda Scott was born on 18 January 1827 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. She was the daughter of John Scott and Mary Tallman. Almeda Scott was baptized on 17 August 1834 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She married George Oscar Spoor, son of William Spoor and Francis Worden, on 3 February 1848 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.2 Almeda Scott died on 22 October 1908 at Clinton Co, New York, at age 81.3 She was buried at Sheldon Cemetery, Ellenburg Depot, Clinton Co, New York.3
