     Joseph Holt was born on 2 April 1655 at New Haven, New Haven Co, Connecticut.1 He was the son of William Holt and Sarah (?) Joseph Holt was baptized in July 1656 at First Congregational Society of New Haven, New Haven, New Haven Co, Connecticut.1 He married Elizabeth French, daughter of Francis French and Lydia Bunnell, on 20 November 1684.2 Joseph Holt died on 19 December 1697 at Wallingford, New Haven Co, Connecticut, at age 42.3
